Privacy Policy

What we collect

  • Email address — used for passwordless authentication. If you separately join the Word of the Day or book list, it is also used for that edition until you unsubscribe.
  • Exploration progress — which words you've visited, stored so your progress syncs across devices.
  • Feedback submissions — text you voluntarily send us through the feedback form.

Editorial email

List confirmations and editions are delivered by our email provider. Each message identifies the edition you joined and includes a direct unsubscribe link. We retain message identifiers and operational events such as delivery, delay, failure, bounce, complaint, and suppression so we can prevent duplicate sends and stop sending to unhealthy addresses. We do not retain email-open or link-click events unless this notice is updated before that feature is enabled.

What we don't collect

  • No personal profiles or demographic data
  • No advertising profiles and no sale of personal data
  • No analytics cookies unless you explicitly allow them

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics for aggregate page and performance metrics. With your consent, we also load Google Analytics to understand search, reading, and signup journeys. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies; declining it does not change the site.

Data storage

Your data is stored securely in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies. Authentication is handled via Supabase Auth with one-time email codes.

Data deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. Anonymous exploration data (stored in your browser's localStorage) can be cleared by you at any time.
